You are a good one, Will. A good soul. We need to hear from more good souls these days. I am grateful that your messages were part of my life. They have kept me convinced that there is humanity around. That some people are good. Like you. May your path open wide in the years to come. '
Whether your topics have been happy or sad, they are always thought provoking. Goodness knows being made to think helps us pay attention as we wander through the mind numbing times we currently live in. Thanks Will.
I often think how odd it is, in a way, that I feel I know you so well, and have such affection for you because of your weekly posts, while you don't share the same knowledge of me, or the other readers you aren't already familiar with. I suppose that has always been true of writers who share their personal lives and of celebrities in general, but it seems so much more a part of our social interactions in the age of digital media. Our nephew Jake's girlfriend, Lizzy Pace talks of her experiences of parasocial interactions, as she's a podcaster and published author who has been recognized by fans even outside of So Cal. It's powerful and terrifying. It's great to learn so much about someone, and to know details of his life that normally only family and close friends would learn. It's also a bit creepy. Hopefully it enhances social bonding and does not substitute for real interaction for most of us. I've told you before, but it is still so true that your musings are a boost to my week, and I'm always happy and curious to see your new post. Thanks for sharing your life, and I find your writing delightful.
ThankYOU for your funny, silly, heartfelt, sad, introspective and sometimes brilliant writing. I look forward to reading you each week. Since your parents are two of my favorite people, I get to know you a little bit by knowing them.
I keep having to adjust my top five WDBs because your work continues to grow in craft, depth, range, intelligence, heart, and humor. I absolutely loved this one. And it is lovely, but not at all surprising, to see the similar reactions from people who are not related to you. Your work is a joy, sometimes because of the laughs you give us, sometimes because of the comfort, and in special cases, (like today’s perfectly placed “there are so many fewer places for dick jokes” dick joke, we get a twofer. I hope you continue to feed your soul and ours with your musings. We’re here as long as you want to stick around. Bravo!

Thank you so much Lee! I really appreciate it
Keep doing what you are doing Will. It’s good therapy for you and all of your readers!
Thanks Bruce! It's also cheaper than therapy!

Claire has said what I would have and still shall anyway. You're a good soul, Will.
She really does have a way with words!

Thank you Harry! I'll keep trying to think and trying to make you think along with me
