Haha the fact that I thought dialup was a misspelling of dua lipa makes me feel less old.

This post makes me very happy that I deleted my old Facebook! I used to say a lot of annoying things like “delight in the day” and “follow the sun”

Will that was a laugh-out-loud post. (You will notice I did not write the capital letters for laugh-out-loud because then I would look back at that and find it cringe-worthy.) And just saying, I still look back at things I said a decade ago and , yes, cringe; and you do not want to know what I thought and wrote in the 195os. Keep the great observations coming and don't forget to tip your waiter. argh....cringe-worthy!

most of my old statuses (so happy i deleted FB) were filled with angst and existential dread - trying to show off how much of a badass i am. ie “Survived another NY winter with only my leather jacket and anger to keep me warm.”

I can't remember any specific comments, but I'm guessing I said things like, "I'm a huge music fan, but I just don't get rap. No melody, so much misogyny. It's never going to last." You know, really prescient stuff.

I never kept a diary -- EXCEPT When I was 12 and 13 I kept one intermittently, with only a paragraph or two allowed in it for each entry. I found it recently, and it was such a snapshot of me growing up. One entry read, 'I wish my Mark (one of my best friends) wouldn't like ALL the girls. ' And then a few days later, I wrote, 'I really like girls.' A quick turnaround, Kind of still applies today :).

And that's just the tip of the iceburg...
