Head on over to Nize Days to read my latest profile: Adam!
From private jets to broken ankles to falling in love (with golf)…this profile has everything!
Here’s a sneak preview!
The way golf gets its hooks into adults is always fascinating. You don’t often hear about someone in their 60s picking up hockey. I’ve yet to meet someone who started playing rec league football after they aged off their parents’ health insurance. And while plenty of people start playing after-work softball well into their adulthood, it’s rare to find those same people grinding all afternoon at the batting cage or waking up early to shag fly balls.
That is what’s so unique about golf: every person I’ve met seems to have picked the game up at a different time in their life, for a different reason. Whether they started in 8th grade to avoid PE class, or in retirement to give them an activity to while away the afternoons, a love of golf seems to lie dormant in all of us just waiting for the proper conditions to spring forth and bloom into an obsession. That was the case with Adam.
